| Difference Between Schedule and Released
Explain what is the difference between schedule and released.
- By Pooja Kohli
A Job Scheduling has 4 stages:
1) Scheduled
2) Released
3) Active
4) Finished/Cancelled
1) Scheduled: this is the stage in which details to run the
job are given. like date, time, periodic, non periodic..etc you can check
this in SM37
2) Released:
Suppose I have scheduled a job to run on 1 st of every month from June
onwards so this job is scheduled on 18 May with all necessary details When
it is finished on 1 june, then from 2 June till 30 of next month this job
is in released state. So when 1st july comes it will run. I don't have
to give the details again which is called in turn scheduling.
