Higher Goals Need Not Involve Money

There is nothing wrong with striving to better oneself and aspiring to higher goals, even when one reaches the target that was set earlier.

However, that target does not necessarily have to be money.  One can yearn to achieve more by spending greater quality time with the family, volunteering one's time and money to worthly charitable causes, learning to play a musical instrument, upgrading oneself through study courses, taking a higher degree.  The list goes on.

Wanting more is not a bad thing.  Wanting to upgrade oneself academically and to improve spiritually and yearning for a better quality of life are all laudable goals which we must never cease striving towards.

Granted that some of these goals require money to achieve.  However, they are targets that can be attained without the exorbitant amount of money.   We all need to take more time to smell the flowers and not slave to amass a fortune which we cannot take to the grave.
