I wanted to use IE4n for refurbishment order but I don't know how does it work, did anybody knows how to do it, and what is the advantages of doing it?

To make it work:

1. You need to define in your material by MM02 the "serial no. profile" (Tab: Plant Data/Store. 2)
It can be a spart parts. (Or every type of material managed in stock). 

2. In spro: 
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service
> Maintenance and Service Processing
 > Configuration Control
   > Determine Properties of Notifications for Installing and 
Removing Parts
   > Make General Settings for Installation/Removal

And also : 
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service
 > Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service
  > Technical Objects
   > Serial Number Management (Used in MM02. Pt N°1)
   > Define Default Equipment Categories for Serial Numbers

3. After this, in the equipment IE02, Affect the material to your equipment and enter a serial number. The "stock information" appear and you can define your stock type (see F1), Plant, storage location, ...

4. IE4N allows you to install/Dismantle equipement with good Mvt.                        *-- Bakkali
